Configure the account's delivery provider, default sender, copied recipients, and one-off open tracking. These settings affect future messages across the account and should be reviewed together.

Before you start

You need authorization to manage email configuration and the correct provider setup. Keep credentials out of documentation, screenshots, and support messages. The page recommends leaving the current provider unchanged unless support requests a change. A configured provider is not proof of mailbox or sender-profile readiness.

Review and edit

  1. Open Settings → Email → Sending and wait for the current configuration to load. The save button is disabled if loading has not succeeded.
  2. Inspect Email Service Provider and the provider-specific fields. Do not substitute another provider or enter placeholder credentials merely to complete a tutorial.
  3. Under Default Sender, review From Email and From Name. The displayed Time Zone is edited through Edit in General. Sender profiles may override the default reply destination.
  4. Review Automatic CC & BCC carefully: these addresses are copied on outbound email across the account. A user's own CC/BCC list replaces the account list for that user's messages, rather than simply adding another copy.
  5. Inspect Track opens on one-off emails, then select Save Changes for an authorized configuration change. Reopen the page to check the non-secret values; do not expect saved secrets to be revealed again.

Check the result

A successful save establishes configuration only. Before a later authorized send, inspect the final From, recipients, copied addresses, and sender-specific reply behavior. An open-tracking signal does not establish that a human read the message.

If something goes wrong

Troubleshooting

A load failure should be resolved before editing. An unexpected From or copied recipient may come from a user or sender override. A provider authentication error should be investigated against the actual integration, not by repeatedly saving unrelated fields. No provider connection, email send, or inbox delivery was tested in this documentation session.
