Inspect sending-domain authentication and blocklist evidence. A healthy check is useful configuration evidence, but it does not guarantee inbox placement or that a person received or read a message.
What you’ll see
Before you start
A sending domain must be configured or represented by mailboxes before it appears for monitoring. You need settings access to inspect results and additional authorization for DNS changes. The Demo Account's unconfigured sending resources should not be presented as a successful deliverability setup.
Review the evidence
- Open Settings → Email → Deliverability. Inspect Monitored, Healthy, Needs Attention, and Blocklisted without treating summary counts as a delivery test.
- Open a domain's result and review when it was checked. Never checked means no reputation result exists yet. Check Now and Check All Domains run checks; they are distinct from simply opening saved results.
- Read Email authentication and Spam blocklists. Keep sensitive values hidden when sharing the screen. Copy only the record values needed by an authorized DNS administrator.
- Review How to fix this and any generated record plan. Apply to Cloudflare followed by Yes, apply changes DNS. Show me exactly what to add is guidance, not evidence the records are already published.
- After an independently authorized fix, run a new check and compare History. Distinguish a proposed fix, an applied record, and a successful later verification.
Check the result and recover
The useful result is a current, explainable status for each relevant domain with outstanding issues identified. A missing result is unknown, not healthy. A listed domain can still lack functioning mailbox or reply setup.
If a check fails to load, use its retry path rather than applying DNS changes blindly. If the plan is stale, Refresh plan before considering a mutation. If a blocklist remains, follow the evidence-specific guidance and recheck later. No DNS changes, external check runs, or email delivery tests were performed for this article.
