Use Business Profile → Ideal Customer Profile to describe the customers and decision-makers you want to serve. You need permission to maintain shared business context and agreement on the target market. Fill in relevant facts rather than treating every optional consumer-oriented field as required for business sales.

What you’ll see

The Ideal Customer Profile page, where you describe your best customers, starting with Target Market.

Review and save the profile

  1. Expand Target Market. Choose Target Industry; the screen explains that outreach packs use it before falling back to your own company industry. Review Target Roles, selecting decision-makers or adding your own role text as pills.
  2. Review Demographics only where it fits the customers you sell to. Fields include Age Range and Generation, Income Level and Purchasing Power, Geographic Location, and Education Level. The screen identifies much of this section as consumer-sales context.
  3. In Professional Background and Motivations, describe relevant background, pain points, goals and preferences. Avoid unsupported assumptions about an individual lead.
  4. Review Buying Behavior, including purchasing habits, channels, decision-making, price sensitivity and content consumption. These describe the intended audience; they are not verified attributes of every contact.
  5. If you used an AI-generated draft, edit it before choosing Save Changes. Draft generation and saving are separate steps.
  6. Reopen the page and compare the persisted Target Market and other relevant sections with your intended profile.

Confirm and recover

The current save handler does not reliably surface every failure, so a return from Saving… is not proof of persistence. Keep intended text until readback succeeds. If fields reset or the account is wrong, stop and resolve that issue before repeating the save. This business-profile page saves independently of Lead Scoring → Publish; changing it is not proof that existing leads were rescored.
