Your goal

Learn how to inspect a message's sender, recipient, wording, attachments, and delivery options. This path stops before sending, scheduling, or saving configuration.

What you need

Use an existing synthetic Demo lead. A phone number and SMS registration are unnecessary for email review. The Demo Account has no mailbox pool or sender profile, although the composer can display an existing default From identity. That visible identity does not establish a ready sending or reply-capture setup.

Read-only milestones

  1. Find the history first. Open the lead's Emails tab and inspect the existing view. Check Notes for context. Reading history helps prevent repeated outreach, but the capture does not prove a new email was sent.
  2. Open Send Email. Inspect the Email tab's From, To, Subject, and Template controls. Do not type, choose recipients, or select another template. In the observed session, the composer asynchronously selected an existing Cold Outreach template and default From identity. It must not be presented as an empty manual draft or a message authored during this lesson.
  3. Identify the final-review surface. Locate Write and Preview at the right end of the body toolbar. The historical capture shows the earlier Final preview label; it does not verify the newer placement or a final rendering. A later send should be checked in its final recipient-visible form.
  4. Inspect Options. Open Options and review Email Layout Template, Schedule Time, CC, BCC, and the open-tracking choice without changing them. The Attachments tab is available; attachment selection and upload were not exercised. Do not interpret a briefly shown default as a confirmed stored account preference.
  5. Close without sending. Use Close. This lesson does not claim that closing saves a draft. Inspect Sending, Mailboxes, Sender Profiles, and Inbound Mail as read-only setup references.

If Sender appears, it contains nonblocking advice about capturing replies to the selected From address. Read About this From address without changing setup. The tab is conditional; required blocking notices and test-mode notices remain on Email. Its absence does not establish that delivery or reply capture was tested.

Your useful outcome now

You can explain who a message appears to come from, whom it would reach, where to check the final content, and which options could schedule or copy it. You have not established that the provider can deliver it or capture a reply.

Later operational exercise — not performed

For later

With separate permission for an exact controlled recipient, confirm sender and reply readiness, write and review one message, inspect any attachments and copied recipients, then submit Send once. Verify history, actual inbox receipt, and a reply arriving in the intended place. Do not send to example.com; it is reserved for fictional prose examples. Email Templates, Signature, and Placeholders explain reusable content settings.

If something looks wrong

Troubleshooting

A sender displayed in From is not evidence that a mailbox pool or sender profile exists. A delayed template selection can change what is shown while the composer loads. If a later send has an uncertain outcome, inspect history before retrying. Tracking opens does not prove human reading, and closing the composer does not prove draft persistence.
