Use Lead Scoring → Overview to understand the workspace’s scoring policy before changing it. You need a signed-in workspace account with access to scoring settings. Any test requires an existing lead you are authorized to use; the overview does not supply a universally safe sample record.
What you’ll see
Read the policy and test result
- Wait for the policy to load. Review Live scoring version (with the Draft in progress version beneath it), Industry preset and what it was Chosen by, Default profile and its audience rules, and Enabled tiers. These describe configuration, not the number of successful sales.
- Read the Scoring map for profile, preset, segments and benchmark context. Review Budget policy before requesting scoring or research work.
- In Test a lead, an authorized user can paste a lead ID and choose Test score. The source runs that lead against the draft settings and shows the score and grade they would give it; nothing is saved to the lead. This is a server request, not a static animation; it was not executed during this guide review.
- After a completed test, inspect the score, confidence, fit grade, intent and verdict together. The Lead quadrant represents the latest test. Before testing, NOT TESTED, not tested or No run is not evidence that a lead scored zero.
- Use Open Operations for versions and rescore jobs. Visit Setup or Scoring Rules to change policy configuration rather than interpreting the overview as an independent editor.
Confirm and recover
Success is a loaded policy with the expected active/draft versions, plus a result associated with the intended authorized test lead when a test is performed. If the connection warning says saved values are unavailable, do not infer the policy from placeholder controls. Restore the connection first. Changes made elsewhere share the scoring draft; Save draft and Publish have different effects, and publication may request a rescore.
