Emails shows recorded email activity for the lead, including scheduled items, verification entries, and message history. Open the intended record in the shared drawer and select Emails. You need access to the lead and any attached documents you inspect.

What you’ll see

The Emails tab on a lead before any emails have been sent to this contact.

Read the record in context

  1. Wait for Loading email history to finish.
  2. Review each message's subject, sender, timestamp, and displayed delivery state.
  3. Distinguish scheduled or cancelled items from regular sent, delivered, opened, or clicked activity.
  4. Review verification entries separately; verifying an address is not evidence that a particular message was delivered.

Scheduled entries can show Scheduled for or Was scheduled for, along with attachment chips and version labels. Where preview is available, open the attachment to inspect the recorded file. A disabled preview does not necessarily mean the attachment was never included.

The same message can have several recorded events. Read the message-level history rather than interpreting every event as a separate send.

Understand cancellation

A scheduled email with an available job offers Cancel. This requests cancellation of the scheduled job and refreshes history. It is an operational action, not a way to close the row or reset a filter.

Cancellation does not recall an email already sent. Before cancelling, confirm the intended message, schedule, and authorization. Afterward, verify the resulting status rather than assuming the button press stopped all delivery work.

Recover missing history

If the page says Email history could not be loaded. Sending and delivery status are unavailable, use Retry email history. Treat the status as unknown while that error is present.

An empty successfully loaded list is different from an error, but neither justifies sending the message again without checking the wider communication record. After an authorized send, history acceptance alone does not prove inbox placement or recipient reading.
