Define the identity, signature, writing voice, and mailboxes associated with a representative or role. A profile can use several mailboxes, but a profile without an attached mailbox cannot send automatically.
What you’ll see
Before you start
You need sender-profile access and an approved identity to represent. At least one usable mailbox is needed for automatic sending. The Demo Account has no sender profile or mailbox pool, so reading the empty state does not demonstrate a working sender.
Review and edit
- Open Settings → Email → Sender Profiles. Select Edit on the intended profile or Add Sender Profile for an authorized new one.
- Under Identity, review Display name, Job title, and Reply-to email. The panel explains that a blank Reply-to normally sends replies to the attached mailbox. Use an explicit override only when its destination is intentional and ready.
- Under Voice, review Writing tone, AI writing instructions, and Signature HTML. A blank profile signature uses the account-wide signature. Check the final email preview before relying on that inheritance.
- Select only the intended Mailboxes. Review Links & CRM, including a real authorized booking or LinkedIn link where appropriate. Generation deliberately leaves the LinkedIn URL blank rather than inventing one.
- Use Create Profile or Save Changes. Reopen the profile and check identity, mailbox associations, and reply settings. Enable and Disable are separate status-changing actions.
Check the result and recover
Success is a saved profile with the intended identity and attachments. It does not prove authentication, automatic sending, or reply capture. Generate produces editable content; review every generated identity claim before use.
If automatic sending is blocked, inspect whether a mailbox is attached and ready. An unexpected signature may come from the profile or account-level setting. A wrong reply destination needs correction before sending; do not test it by messaging a real lead. No sender creation, enabling, or email test occurred for this guide.
