Use Business Profile → Disqualified Traits to maintain short phrases describing a poor fit for your business. Review these shared criteria with the workspace owner before adding or removing them. A trait can influence how prospects are treated; it should describe a legitimate business criterion rather than an unsupported conclusion about an individual.

What you’ll see

The Disqualified Traits page, where you type a Trait and select Add trait. No traits have been added yet.

Review the list and make a change

  1. Wait for Active traits to load. Inspect each phrase, its reason, and whether it is marked Manual or Learned. Learned traits were extracted from disqualification activity; the occurrence count indicates reconfirmation, not independent proof that a rule is appropriate.
  2. In Add a trait, enter a short phrase in Trait. The field requires at least three characters, and Add trait remains unavailable for a shorter trimmed value.
  3. Use Why (optional) to explain the business reason. A useful reason helps another teammate understand when the criterion should apply.
  4. Choose Add trait to submit that trait directly. This screen does not wait for a separate page-wide Save Changes or scoring-policy Publish action.
  5. Check the added message and the Active traits list. Reopen the page to verify the phrase and reason were retained.
  6. To withdraw a criterion, review the correct row before using Remove. The source invokes removal from that control; do not treat it as merely opening a preview.

Confirm and recover

A saved trait is configuration evidence, not proof that every provider and outreach channel enforced it. If a service notice says the list could not load, do not interpret the empty area as no traits. If an addition or removal has an uncertain result, refresh and inspect the list before repeating it. Ask support about unexpected learned entries or missing persistence.
