Use Lead Scoring → Compliance to inspect suppression records and review the policy for potentially adverse information. You need authority to maintain workspace safety controls and a clear reason for each change. Suppression and a poor-fit score serve different purposes; use the control that matches the actual request or evidence.

What you’ll see

The Compliance page, where you open Compliance & suppression to manage suppression lists, consent and retention.

Review suppression and policy

  1. Open Suppression list and choose Refresh if needed. Inspect each entry’s match value, reason, scope, source and active state. The page states that suppression is checked before scoring spends on provider calls or triggers actions.
  2. For an authorized addition, use Add suppression. Choose Match type: Email, Phone, Domain or Lead id. Enter the intended Match value carefully; a domain-level match can affect more than one contact.
  3. Choose the appropriate Reason and Scope. Available reasons include opt out, DNC request, unsubscribe, existing customer, competitor and rep flag. Scopes include All channels and individual channels.
  4. Choose Add suppression to submit that record. This is a direct action, separate from publishing a scoring-policy draft. Refresh the list and verify the exact match and scope.
  5. In Adverse action gate, review Negative news mode and Allow automatic disqualification. Policy edits use the shared Save draft and Publish controls; review Rescore on publish before activating them.

Confirm and recover

A visible suppression record confirms the saved configuration, not a completed end-to-end refusal test for every provider. If the list cannot load, do not assume it is empty. Resolve access or connection failures first. If an addition’s result is uncertain, refresh and check for the existing entry before repeating it. Escalate incorrect suppression scope promptly through support.
