Manage Computers provisions and controls cloud desktops used by research agents. You need authorized workspace access, available account capacity, and approval for the resource and any associated spending. This is an infrastructure-management page, not a read-only catalog when its action buttons are used.
What you’ll see
Inspect capacity and existing computers
- Open Settings → Agent Computers → Manage Computers.
- Read Plan, Computer Capacity, and Available together.
- Inspect existing computers and their runtime, running state, and installation status.
- Distinguish a provisioned desktop from a successfully installed agent and from a running research job.
Displayed entitlement or a selectable size does not establish provider availability, a price, or permission to create a resource. If the list or capacity fails to load, resolve the service notice before treating empty values as actual capacity.
Understand creation
Create Computer includes Name, Runtime, RAM, CPU, Disk, and Auto-stop. Runtime choices include Base Linux desktop, OpenClaw, and Hermes Agent. Install runtime immediately optionally requests installation after the computer has been created.
Submitting creates a real cloud resource. Auto-stop affects its operating behavior, but does not by itself prove all charges end or that the resource is deleted. Never disables that automatic stopping choice and should not be selected casually.
The reviewed form does not expose a Linux distribution release selector. If your team requires a particular operating system, confirm provider support before provisioning; the generic Linux label does not establish a specific distribution.
Verify and recover
Start, Stop, and Install perform operations on the selected computer. Do not use them merely to see whether buttons respond. After an authorized operation, reload and confirm the computer and installation states separately. A successful create followed by failed installation can leave a real resource present.
