Documents is the shared library for files the team and assistant can reference or attach. You need access to the workspace library and permission to use the material you upload. Browsing an existing entry is separate from uploading, renaming, removing, or attaching it to a message.

What you’ll see

The Documents page, where you select Upload Document to add a file. The Document Library is empty here.

Find the intended version

  1. Open Settings → Documents → Documents.
  2. Use the Type filter and name search to narrow the library.
  3. Read Name, Type, Current Version, Modified, and Size together.
  4. Expand a document's version history and inspect the version marked Current. Use its preview action to view the intended file.

A display name is not necessarily the underlying filename. Check the content and version before assuming a file is the approved brochure or proposal.

Add or revise a document

Upload Document opens a form with Type, Display Name, and a file selector. An empty display name is derived from the filename. Submitting the upload writes the file and its library record, then refreshes the list.

Upload new version targets an existing document group and preserves that group's category and display name. The file-selection handler immediately starts that version upload after a file is chosen; there is no separate final review step in that handler. Select the correct group and file before using it.

Inline rename has a Save name action. Removal can apply to all versions, so read the scope of the confirmation before proceeding.

Verify and recover

After an authorized upload, reload the library and preview the resulting version. Check that it belongs to the intended group and that older versions remain where expected. A library upload does not prove a recipient received an attachment.

Upload and rename failures appear as service or action errors. Check the refreshed library before retrying an uncertain upload to avoid unnecessary duplicates.
