Reuse reviewed email wording without rewriting it for every lead. A template stores content and where it is offered; saving it is not the same as sending an email.

What you’ll see

The Email Templates page, where you select a template to edit it, or select New Template to add one.

Before you start

You need template-editing access. A configured sender is needed later for delivery, not for reading a template. Check which workflows already use an existing template before changing its wording or call-outcome association.

Review and edit

  1. Open Settings → Templates → Email Templates. Select an existing template, or choose New Template to open the creation panel.
  2. Set Template Name, Subject Line, and Description. If Subject Line is empty, the template name is used as the subject; make that an intentional choice.
  3. Review Type and Module. Inspect Show on Call Screen and Associate with Call Outcome before changing them. The latter connects the template to the later Save & Send Email call-outcome action.
  4. Edit Content, choosing Simple email or Plain text as appropriate. Review Attachments and AI Instructions separately. Instructions tell AI how to personalize content; they are not a substitute for checking the recipient-visible message.
  5. Use Create Template for a new item or Save Changes for an existing one. Reopen it and inspect the saved subject, body, attachments, and usage settings.

Check the result

Success is a reusable saved template with the intended scope. Before a later authorized send, inspect personalization, signature, recipient, and sender in the composer. No delivery is proved by a template save.

If something goes wrong

Troubleshooting

An unexpected subject may come from the template-name fallback. Missing quick-send availability may be explained by Module or Show on Call Screen. After an unclear save, reopen the existing item before making a duplicate. Deletion has a separate confirmation; do not use it to troubleshoot a loading problem.
