Keep reusable messages for social channels organized by platform and purpose. This is a content library, not a scheduler or proof that an account can publish successfully.
What you’ll see
Before you start
You need template-editing access and a clear intended platform. Actual posting or messaging requires the appropriate connected account, destination, and authorization. A Facebook message, an Instagram message, and a general social note may need different wording even when they serve the same business goal.
Review and edit
- Open Settings → Templates → Social Media Templates and select an existing template to inspect its current usage.
- Use New Template for a new purpose. Review Start From when copying an existing item, then supply a clear Template Name and Description.
- Check Type, Platform, and Module. Platform is especially important here: a useful message on one channel should not silently become the default on another.
- Write or revise Content. Review any placeholders in the wording and keep business claims grounded in known information. In AI Instructions, describe how the message may be personalized without permitting unsupported promises.
- Select Create Template or Save Changes, as appropriate. Reopen the saved item and verify both the wording and platform assignment.
Check the result
The safe first result is a saved, correctly categorized message. A later authorized communication should still be reviewed for the actual account, recipient or audience, and final personalized text. Saving this template does not establish external publication, moderation approval, or delivery.
If something goes wrong
Troubleshooting
If a template is unavailable where expected, inspect its Platform and Module before duplicating it. If copied content mentions the wrong channel, revise both the body and its usage settings. A connection problem belongs in the relevant Apps setup, not in repeated template saves. Check the existing item after an unclear result to avoid creating several nearly identical templates.
