Payment shows the card-on-file state, subscription settings, and billing details. You need authorized billing access and permission to manage the payment method. Reading the current state does not authorize a card update, subscription change, or purchase.
What you’ll see
Review the account
- Open Settings → Billing → Payment.
- Inspect Card on File and any account-specific notice.
- Read the Subscription Type and Payment Method fields, which are presented as read-only facts.
- Review Subscription Start Date, Renew automatically, and the Billing Details section without changing them during a read-only check.
Billing address and contact details are maintained in General → Address, with an Edit in General link. The billing address can fall back to the business address. Do not copy payment or billing information into a shared screenshot or support message.
Understand the separate save actions
Add Card or Update Card starts a Stripe card-setup flow. Save Card confirms the payment method and then associates it with the account. It may require an additional payment-provider step. This is distinct from Save Changes, which saves the subscription settings form.
The page may explain that a payment method is required for a blocked purchase. Adding a card does not itself authorize retrying that purchase. Confirm the actual purchase and its exact charge and terms separately with your workspace billing owner.
Verify and recover
After an authorized card update, confirm the account shows the expected card-on-file state. A provider confirmation can succeed while saving to the LeadScore account fails; the page explicitly reports that condition and directs the user to Report Bug. Do not repeatedly submit card setup without understanding the result.
For missing payment configuration or setup errors, use the visible guidance. A saved renewal setting is not proof that the provider's subscription, charge, or cancellation was completed; verify the actual billing outcome separately.
