Use Pipeline → Board Columns to name and arrange the statuses inside pipeline stages and rename task-board columns. Confirmed administrative access is required for editing. Wait until saved names and columns load; the page disables saving when it can only show fallback defaults.
What you’ll see
Arrange the boards
- Expand the intended stage. Check its current column labels and order before changing anything.
- Edit a column name, use the up/down controls to reposition it, or use the alphabetical sort controls. Reset order returns the stage’s order to its default. These actions change the form; nothing is stored until Save Changes.
- Where available, add a column and enter its name. An unsaved new column can be removed before saving. Previously saved columns can be renamed or hidden, but are not deleted, preserving the place of existing leads.
- Use the show/hide control only on eligible columns. Locked columns explain why their visibility cannot change.
- Open Task Board to rename task statuses separately. Reset to Defaults resets names after confirmation, including stage names in the shared implementation. Column order, added columns and hidden columns remain.
- Choose Save Changes, wait for completion and reopen the settings. Check the corresponding Pipeline or Tasks board afterward.
Confirm and recover
Verify labels, order and visibility independently: a reset of names does not reset every other choice. Hiding a column is not deleting its leads. If Changes not saved appears, inspect whether pipeline names saved but Task Board names failed before retrying. If settings failed to load, retry loading before editing instead of assuming the visible defaults describe the stored configuration.
