DNS Connections manages the accounts LeadScore can use for DNS setup. You need access to Domains settings and authorization over the external DNS account. Keep tokens and account identifiers out of screenshots, messages, and shared instructions.
What you’ll see
Inspect existing connections
- Open Settings → Domains → DNS Connections.
- Review the provider list and Connected accounts. Check the account's readiness and active/default state rather than relying only on its presence in the list.
- Use the account's settings to inspect its name and routing preferences. Avoid changing them during a review-only session.
Cloudflare offers a sign-in flow. The advanced token dialog supports an Account name, secret token, and an optional account identifier. These are different ways to authorize an account; they are not required just to read the existing list.
Connect or update when authorized
The token path tests credentials before accepting an unverified token. Connect adds a new connection; Save token replaces credentials on an existing one. If the test fails, resolve the stated permission or token problem before saving. A successful credential test is not proof that every domain is correctly configured.
Account settings provides Use as default, Active, and advanced Max domains and Weight, plus Notes. Save persists those settings. Default affects selection order, and higher weight affects how new domains are assigned when several accounts qualify.
Verify and recover
After an authorized change, reload the account list and check readiness and the intended settings. Removing an account has an explicit Yes, remove confirmation; the page says affected domains fall back to the manual guide. Keep it cancels that removal. Deactivating retains the connection record but stops its use.
Read connection or test errors before retrying; do not expose the token while reporting a failure.
