Apps is the catalog and management area for external connections. You need access to Integration settings and authority over the external account before connecting, replacing credentials, or changing routing. Provider-specific requirements vary; a catalog card is not proof that the service is available to your account.
What you’ll see
Review connection state
- Open Settings → Integration → Apps.
- Use category chips to narrow the catalog.
- Inspect the intended provider and its saved accounts.
- Distinguish connected accounts from Needs reconnecting or saved · not connected. A stored account can exist without a usable credential in the current environment.
Open the provider's management area to review its current configuration. Avoid treating every provider's controls as interchangeable: CRM, calendar, WhatsApp, and import integrations have different effects.
Understand provider-specific writes
WhatsApp Create account and Save changes to this account save its details without connecting or disconnecting the phone. Starting the linking flow saves those details and then presents pairing instructions. Save messaging defaults changes prefills; it does not link the phone. Pairing codes and account credentials must remain private.
Lead-form routing can configure destination lists, stages, statuses, and tags. Import existing checks historical submissions and retries failed form syncs, so it is an import operation rather than a read-only refresh.
BatchDialer configuration includes campaign filters and assignment settings. Changing them can alter which records are synchronized or assigned. Do not start synchronization solely to test the page.
Verify and recover
After an authorized change, reload the specific provider account and inspect its actual status. A saved configuration is not proof of historical recovery, calendar booking, message delivery, or synchronized customer acceptance.
Read service errors and reconnect guidance before replacing credentials or repeating imports. Record only the provider name, affected setting, and sanitized error when requesting help.
