Use Lead Scoring → Setup to choose the industry starting point, default customer profile and context available to scoring. You need authority to edit workspace scoring policy. Start after the live policy loads, and coordinate changes with whoever owns qualification rules and research spending.
What you’ll see
Prepare the policy draft
- Expand Industry defaults. Review Preset, Resolution source, Default profile, and enabled sources. Profile choices include B2B, B2C, Hybrid and Property management. Apply preset defaults changes the draft starting configuration; review its consequences before publication.
- Open Profiles & segments. Use Add segment when a group needs different routing. Review Label, Profile, Priority, Tags any, Lifecycle any, and Benchmark set. The screen states that the lowest priority wins, so resolve overlapping segments deliberately.
- In Context associations, choose Allowed context types and review Default context IDs and Require context for segments. Context changes trigger rescore controls stale-score handling when associations change.
- Choose Save draft to store the policy draft without publishing it. The shared bar includes changes from the other scoring tabs; check its unsaved-change count.
- When the complete policy is approved, Publish saves pending edits and activates the draft. Review Rescore on publish, which starts checked. Discard abandons unsaved draft changes.
Confirm and recover
Check the returned draft or active version and reopen the policy. A published policy and a queued rescore are separate outcomes; the status can report publication succeeded but rescore could not be queued. Linked pages under More settings for this tab save independently and are not included by Publish. Resolve load or save errors before continuing.
