Prepare the guidance a representative sees in Speed Dial's call coach. These scripts differ from AI Assistant → Voice Scripts, which governs scripts used by AI on its calls.
What you’ll see
Before you start
You need permission to manage templates. You can write and preview a human call script without a calling number. Actual calling separately requires a ready number, audio connection, authorized recipient, and the appropriate account permissions.
Review and edit
- Open Settings → Templates → Call Scripts. Select an existing script, or open the options menu and choose New Manual Script for a blank starting point. Generate with AI is a separate generation workflow.
- Set Script Name and Description. Review Default script (auto-selected on Speed Dial) before enabling it because this changes what representatives start with.
- Write the Opener Line and useful Response Branches. In the pitch, review Intro, Reason for Calling, Diagnostic Question, After They Respond, and Soft Ask.
- Add appropriate gatekeeper, objection, closing, and voicemail guidance. Include honest responses for a wrong person or invalid number. Review placeholders and any AI-personalization instructions instead of relying on unknown lead data.
- Open Script Preview to inspect the assembled guidance, then choose Create Script for a new script or Save Changes for an existing one. Reopen it to confirm the content and default selection.
Check the result
Success is a coherent saved script that helps a person have a conversation. A preview or saved default does not initiate a call. Do not place a call merely to prove that the script appears.
If something goes wrong
Troubleshooting
Missing sections may reflect an empty structured field rather than a lost script. An unexpected automatic selection may come from the Default setting. If generated wording is inaccurate, edit it before saving. Check the existing record after an uncertain save; AI duplication creates a separate script and is not a recovery action for an unknown save outcome.
