Contacts lists people attached to the current lead and relationships to other lead records. Open the intended lead in the shared drawer and choose Contacts. You need access to both the current record and any related record you open or change.
What you’ll see
Understand the relationship
- Wait for contacts to finish loading. You can also reach this tab from the drawer header's +N more link, shown when a record holds several officers in one name.
- Distinguish ordinary contact cards from cards marked Linked lead.
- Review any Linked to section showing leads that this record is attached under.
- Open a linked lead only after confirming it is the intended related record; its lifecycle and score belong to that separate lead.
An empty contact list does not prove that no related person exists elsewhere in the workspace. Search the lead lists before creating another person or linking a similar company name.
Add or change deliberately
Add Contact opens the contact-creation form. Link existing lead connects an existing lead instead of creating an ordinary contact. Choose the relationship that matches the data you actually have.
Contact edit actions change the attached person's stored details. Communication actions on a contact or linked-lead card target that card's contact information, which can differ from the parent lead. Verify the recipient before entering any send or calling workflow.
Unlink removes the relationship without deleting the linked lead. It is still a stored change, and it can change where the lead appears in relationship views. Deleting an ordinary contact is a separate operation with its own consequences.
Check and recover
After an authorized add, edit, or link, reload the Contacts tab and inspect the correct card and relationship direction. Open the related record to confirm identity where necessary. A refreshed card alone does not prove a communication was delivered.
If loading fails or an expected relationship is missing, check the parent and related record before adding another link. Preserve a concise description of the relationship for support without copying private contact details.
