Set measurable campaign targets and distribute them over a working calendar. A goal describes what the team intends to achieve; publishing it does not establish that outreach or revenue occurred.
What you’ll see
Before you start
You need access to campaign goals, an agreed measurement scope, campaign dates, and a timezone. Decide which days count as working days and which metrics matter. No communication channel needs to be activated to review a plan.
Review and edit
- Open Settings → Marketing → Goals. Choose Create 90-Day Goal, or Review and Edit on an existing campaign.
- Set Campaign name, Starts, Ends, Campaign timezone, and Currency. Calendar boundaries and daylight-saving changes use the campaign timezone, not merely the browser timezone.
- Review the targets and their explanations. Check whether success is measured Each calendar week or Across the campaign, and inspect the intended owner scope.
- Set Working days, Calendar weeks start on, and Blackout dates. Use Manual period overrides only for a deliberate adjustment, with a clear reason.
- Read the Live summary, then use Publish Campaign Goal for a new plan or Save New Revision for an edit. Existing-goal changes require a meaningful explanation under Why are these targets changing?
Check the result
The success screen shows the saved revision and its effective date. Return to the campaign list and reopen the goal. Historical dates retain the revision active at that time; a new target should not be described as retroactively changing past performance.
If something goes wrong
Troubleshooting
Unexpected pacing often comes from working days, blackout dates, period overrides, or timezone. If the live calculation fails, resolve that error before publishing an unclear plan. An unavailable starting plan should be retried through the displayed flow rather than replaced with invented figures. Compare actual results in reporting using the same scope and period as the goal.
