Tasks gives the team a shared place to review assignments, due dates, and progress. You need access to the task area and the relevant workspace records. Task deletion is capability-controlled, so the ability to read or edit a task does not imply permission to delete it.

Review the workload

  1. Choose Task in the header and then choose Status Board, Time Horizon, or Priority.
  2. Use Status Board to review progress, Time Horizon to see when work is due, or Priority to work through the list.
  3. Compare Total Tasks, Active, In Progress, Overdue, and Completed with the current view. Use the closed-task control when you need to find work that is hidden from the normal working list.
  4. Open a task to inspect its assignment, due date, and details before making changes.

Opening an existing task uses a slide-out editor. Edits save as they are made, so opening the panel is suitable for review, but typing changes is a write operation. Do not use a real task as a scratchpad. Adding a task uses the task creation modal instead.

Update or finish work

For an authorized update, change only the intended task information and inspect the resulting state. Moving a task on the board also changes stored information. Mark work complete only after the underlying activity is finished; completing a task is not proof that an associated email was delivered or a meeting occurred.

AI-related task execution and autonomy are separate from simply maintaining a task list. Review the workspace's AI Assistant settings before relying on automated work or allowing it to send communications.

Recover missing or deleted work

First show closed tasks if a completed item appears to be missing. If deletion is available and a task was removed by mistake, open Recycle Bin, locate the intended task, and use its restore action. Deleted tasks are retained for recovery; this is not a permanent-erasure workflow.

If the page displays a load error, use Try again. Until loading succeeds, do not assume that an old board or an empty list represents the current workload. After an update or restoration, reopen the task and verify its assignment, dates, and status.
