Users lists workspace membership, job titles, and access levels. This section is limited to the workspace's verified owners, administrators, and managers. If identity or role cannot be confirmed, the app returns to Settings with an access explanation instead of showing the directory.
What you’ll see
Review a teammate
- Open Settings → Users → Users.
- Use the shared search to find the intended teammate.
- Compare Job Title, Access Level, and account status. Job title supplies a default access level, but an explicit access-level choice can override it.
- Where membership controls are available, switch between Current users and Removed members to understand the membership state.
Restoring a removed member restores them as Disabled and retains history. It is not the same as enabling access. Disabling, removing, and restoring have different consequences and require the relevant management capability.
Edit or invite only when authorized
Add User opens the creation flow. Existing-user edits include contact details, job title, access level, sending identity, automatic-copy preferences, and signature settings. The edit panel uses a working copy: Save Changes commits it, while Cancel discards pending edits. Some self-access changes are restricted.
Automatic CC/BCC can inherit workspace defaults, be off for the person, or use custom recipients. Changing these settings affects future email behavior. Review that scope before saving, even if you are only intending to update a job title.
Login instructions and password-reset actions send email. Invitations, resets, enabling, disabling, and membership removal were not performed for this guide.
Check the result
Reload the directory after an authorized change and inspect the intended member's status and access level. Read row-specific feedback and load errors rather than assuming a closed editor proves persistence. An access-level label does not establish universal enforcement of every fine-grained Permissions switch.
