Mass Update Leads changes one field across matching records. Use it only with authority to edit the intended lead population and a precise change request. This is an advanced utility outside the primary header navigation; for ordinary individual edits, use the lead record.

What you’ll see

Mass Update Leads, where you pick a pipeline type, a field and a new value, add conditions, then select Update Leads.

Prepare an authorized update

  1. In Step 1: Choose Pipeline Type, select B2B or B2C. Review the appropriate stage/status options before selecting a value.
  2. In Step 2: Select Field to Update, choose the intended field. Check whether its expected value is text, a number, a boolean or a pipeline choice; do not substitute a display label where a specific option is offered.
  3. Complete Step 3: Enter New Value. Empty values are rejected by the current submit handler.
  4. Use Step 4: Add Conditions (Optional) to narrow the population. Review every condition and remove incorrect conditions before proceeding. An optional condition area is not evidence of a safe default limit.
  5. Review scope outside this utility if necessary. The source does not establish a dry-run count or per-record approval preview before Step 5: Update Leads.
  6. Only after the exact change is authorized, choose Update Leads once. The success text says the request was accepted and asks you to refresh the lead list to verify changes.

Confirm and recover

Check representative affected records and the intended scope after the operation. Accepted is not a verified row-by-row result. If the outcome cannot be confirmed, the page prevents immediate repeat submission and tells you to inspect the lead list. Do not reload merely to bypass that protection and resend an uncertain bulk write.
