The lead drawer brings a record's details and history into the page where you are already working. Leads, Pipeline, and Calendar can open this shared panel. A lead link may use the ?lead query parameter; it is not a separate full-page profile. You need access to the record in your current workspace. In Speed Dial, selecting a lead is distinct from View Details, which opens this drawer.
What you’ll see
Read the record first
- Open a lead from its list, board card, or linked meeting.
- Confirm that the drawer shows the intended person or company. The header names each once: the title is the company or the person, and the line beneath it gives the other, with the contact's role. When a record holds several officers in one name, the first is shown with +N more, which opens Contacts. Depending on the workspace's industry, the header can also show the website, or the industry and location. Similar names and related contacts are reasons to check the identity before acting.
- Review the available tabs. The source includes Notes, Edit, Documents, Contacts, Messages, Tasks, Emails, Calls, Scoring, and Activity. Playbooks and Account depend on the record and available capabilities.
- Compare recent notes and activity with existing tasks before starting another follow-up. Review available email, message, and call history to avoid duplicating work.
Archived records have a reduced set of tabs. A missing edit or communication tab on an archived record is therefore not the same as a failed page load. The conditional Account tab requires an eligible company-account context; its detailed workflow still needs a dedicated guide.
Choose an action deliberately
The action menu includes communication options and management options. Send Email, Make Phone Call, Send SMS Text, and AI calling actions can lead to real outreach. Verify the recipient, channel setup, and your authorization before proceeding.
Management actions include Add Contact, Import Conversation, Re-Score, Upload Document, Add Follow-up Task, and Enroll in Playbook. Re-scoring can start processing, and enrollment can initiate a sequence. List actions such as Add to Research List, Add to Speed Dial, and Add to Hot Leads change where a record is worked. Remove (Unqualified) changes the lead's classification; it is not a harmless way to dismiss the drawer.
Check your work
After an authorized change, reopen the relevant tab and verify the resulting details or history. A call entry or send status alone does not establish that a person received or answered the communication. If information appears incomplete, keep the record identity and the visible error for support rather than repeatedly triggering the same operation.

This capture shows an earlier header that named the contact twice: under the title and again before the phone number. The contact now appears once, with their role, under the title.
