Your goal

Learn where to keep context and plan the next action for a small lead list. You can complete this orientation using existing Demo records without importing contacts, adding leads, requesting research, or saving anything.

What you need

Use the Demo Account and an existing synthetic training record. No purchased number, SMS registration, mailbox pool, sender profile, or AI calling setup is needed to inspect leads, notes, and human tasks. For your own later rollout, start with 10–100 authorized contacts and practise the routine on three to five before expanding it.

Read-only milestones

  1. Find the lead list. Choose Leads in the header; it opens on Validated Leads. Open an existing training lead. The observed lead panel has Notes, Edit, Documents, Contacts, Messages, Tasks, Emails, Calls, Scoring, and Activity. Read what each tab offers without changing fields or tags.
  2. Find the context and next action. In Notes, identify Note Type, the composer, Preview, and Save Notes. In Tasks, inspect Add Task, the active-task filter, sorting, and Show Closed. The captured training lead showed no tasks; that is not a newly completed task exercise.
  3. Understand the form before using it. The Add New Task form was opened without entering or submitting anything. Locate Task Title, Assigned to, and Advanced Options. Scheduling placement differs between the reviewed source and this Preview capture; this review did not exercise those controls. Close the form without selecting a preset, editing a field, or pressing Add Task.
  4. Find a working list. Open Communication → Lists. Inspect the list categories without selecting recipients or initiating a bulk action. A list organizes work; it is not an instruction to contact everyone in it.
  5. Inspect intake choices. Open Import in the header and review Upload, History, Integration, and Lead Sources. Do not choose a file, retry an import, sync an app, or copy private webhook details. See Import for the later operational workflow.

Your useful outcome now

You can locate an existing lead, explain where its notes and task history live, and identify the intake option appropriate to your eventual list. Describe one sensible next action in your own learning notes rather than changing the Demo record. Research screens can also be inspected, but existing partial research is not proof a new research request succeeded.

Later operational exercise — not performed

For later

When a permitted training-write session is available, save one factual note with Save Notes, create one human-assigned task with a due date, and reopen both to check persistence and the correct lead association. A fictional writing example is “Review Example Workshop requirements”; it is not a record created in this session. Save & Research Lead also requests research, so it is not a notes-only practice action. An import requires a separate upload and result review.

If the view is confusing

Troubleshooting

Check the workspace and filters before concluding a lead or task is missing. Empty history is different from a loading error. If an operation's result is uncertain in a later exercise, inspect the existing record before repeating it. Channel-setup prompts do not mean a phone number is required for notes and human tasks.
