Calendar brings meetings and booking requests into a shared schedule. Access determines whether you see team meetings or your own work. Booking also depends on the Speed Dial workspace permission and the connected calendar; seeing a meeting does not necessarily give you permission to book one.
What you’ll see
Read the schedule
- Open Calendar and choose the available Day, Week, Month, or List view.
- Check the displayed period and people filters. The toolbar supports Booked By and Account Exec, with Everyone and individual people where access permits.
- Use the status controls and Needs Attention view to focus on outstanding booking requests.
- Open a meeting for its details. Where a real lead is linked, use the lead action to open the shared lead record.
The sidebar's Meeting Length controls how shorter meetings are drawn in Day and Week views. It does not change their actual booked times. Read the times in the meeting details before coordinating attendance.
Recognize sample mode
A Sample meetings banner explicitly says that nothing shown is real. Preview As can demonstrate different roles using those samples. Sample mode is suitable for learning the calendar, but its rows are not evidence of customer bookings and cannot be used to book real meetings.
A missing meeting while data is loading or an error is displayed is different from a successfully loaded empty calendar. Check the current period and filters before treating a meeting as absent.
Book only when ready
Where Book meeting is available in the toolbar (an empty calendar also offers Book a meeting), start by finding the intended lead and reviewing the booking flow. Confirm the participant, connected calendar, selected time, and relevant booking details before the final action. Booking changes real scheduling data and may interact with configured reminders or follow-ups.
Use Settings → Bookings to review the account's booking setup.
After an authorized booking, reload the calendar and verify the meeting's actual time, lead, and status. Check pending requests separately; an outstanding request is not a confirmed meeting.
Check events from Google Calendar
Google Calendar events sits in the toolbar beside Book meeting. It opens a panel that lists connected-calendar events waiting for review, with Scan connected calendars to check again. Import without a contact copies one event into this workspace calendar without linking a lead; the connected calendar owner is kept, no invitations are sent, and all-day events stay in Google Calendar. Importing is a data-changing operation, not a requirement for simply inspecting the schedule. The button is hidden while sample meetings are shown.

The empty-calendar captures show an earlier layout, with Review Google Calendar events as a link in a band under the toolbar. That control is now the Google Calendar events button beside Book meeting.
