Signal Density contains account-level configuration for signal sources, categories and individual signal rules. Its visible Scaffold mode notice is essential: the page stores tenant settings, while signal ingestion and scorer execution depend on backend capabilities enabled progressively. A saved toggle is not proof that new signals are arriving or changing scores.

What you’ll see

The Signal Density Scoring page, where you turn on Enable Signal Density Layer and set Signal Decay and Min Active Signals.

Review the configuration

Use an authenticated workspace account authorized to maintain scoring settings. Establish which sources and runtime capabilities your workspace actually has before enabling settings. Do not use this page as evidence that a particular external provider is connected.

  1. Open the page and wait for its saved tenant configuration. Read Scaffold mode before interpreting the controls.
  2. Review Enable Signal Density Layer, Prioritize Real-Time Signals, and Activation Scope against the intended configuration.
  3. Review signal decay and the minimum active-signal count used for priority. The save handler constrains decay to 1–365 days and the minimum count to 1–25.
  4. Inspect source switches, category enablement and weights, then each signal’s enabled state, points, freshness window and deep-research requirement. Category weights are bounded to 0–100; points may be negative.
  5. Choose Save Changes only for an approved configuration update. The page saves tenant configuration and shows a success notification when its service reports success.
  6. Reopen to confirm persistence. Obtain separate runtime evidence before claiming ingestion, research execution or score effects.

Confirm and recover

A load failure or missing workspace can leave defaults on screen. Do not replace existing settings from that state. Resolve access or service errors and load again. If a configured source produces no signals, first confirm that the backend integration exists and is enabled; repeated saves cannot create an absent ingestion service.
