Event Conversations lets authorized event staff resolve an attendee’s personal QR link and review the RSVP brief. You must be assigned to an event whose scanning setup is ready. An attendee link identifies an RSVP; it does not prove who is holding the phone.

What you’ll see

The Choose your event page when event scanning has not been set up for the account yet.

Review an attendee

  1. Open the scanner and wait for Loading your events… to finish. Only events available to your account are listed. If none appear, ask the event administrator to confirm assignment rather than creating a substitute event.
  2. Select the intended event and check its title, time and readiness. Change returns to event selection. A Not set up event needs administrator action before scanning.
  3. Choose Turn on camera only when authorized to scan. The browser requests camera permission; Turn off camera stops it. Alternatively, paste the attendee’s full personal link under Paste their personal link and choose Check link.
  4. At Is this the person you’re talking to?, confirm the attendee with the person present. Choose Yes, that’s them only when appropriate, or Not them to abandon the match.
  5. Review the brief, including company size and What they told us. Treat missing details as unknown. Next person clears the current attendee context before another scan.

Confirm and recover

The current interface explicitly says Voice notes aren’t connected yet. No microphone is active and no note has been created in that state; do not promise recording or saved conversation notes. Offline or unavailable-event messages require connectivity or administrator setup, not repeated scans. Keep personal QR links and attendee details private.
