Your goal

Learn where inbound enquiries appear and how to decide their next human action. This path reviews the intake entry points without submitting a public form, syncing integrations, creating a landing page, or sending a reply.

What you need

Use the Demo Account with access to Communication. The observed Inbound Leads category showed zero enquiries, and Landing Pages showed no pages. There is no captured new-submission-to-reply success story. A phone number is unnecessary for reading enquiries; replying through a channel requires its own setup.

Read-only milestones

  1. Find the intake category. Open Communication in the header and locate Inbound Leads in the category list. Its presence and zero count were observed. The capture did not exercise a specific inbound enquiry, its form answers, or lead-linking flow.
  2. Understand page-based intake. Open Landing Pages. Read the actual No landing pages yet state and identify New Landing Page and Connect Domain without using them. A page editor or published form is not required to learn where setup begins.
  3. Find other intake routes. Open Import and inspect Integration and Lead Sources. These views were read without syncing, retrying, or submitting data. Do not copy or expose account webhook addresses.
  4. Find later handling tools. On the existing synthetic lead, inspect Notes, Tasks, and Activity. This demonstrates where a verified linked lead's context and follow-up would live; it does not mean that lead was created by an inbound submission.
  5. Review the relevant settings. Inbound Mail describes email acceptance and reply routing; Attribution describes source evidence. Leave routing, confirmation, and source-Apply actions unchanged.

Your useful outcome now

You can locate inbound intake, explain which setup is missing, and describe the difference between an enquiry, its original answers, a verified lead link, and a reply. An empty intake category is an honest starting point; do not fill it with a live test merely to complete this lesson.

Later operational exercise — source-reviewed, not performed

For later

With an existing authorized training enquiry, open Inbound Leads, inspect source/page/owner filters, and read its original form answers. The reviewed implementation opens the standard lead panel when exactly one verified lead is linked; otherwise it opens an enquiry panel. Do not guess an association from a similar name. On a verified lead, record context and create a human task only when training writes are allowed. A reply requires separate channel readiness, recipient authorization, and actual delivery checks.

If an expected enquiry is absent

Troubleshooting

Check workspace, source/page filters, test-enquiry visibility, and connection state before asking for resubmission. A saved submission can still await CRM delivery or verification. An integration's healthy status alone does not prove a specific enquiry arrived. Do not create duplicate submissions or send another reply until prior history is understood.
